The Bomber Birds Poem by Ima Ryma

The Bomber Birds

Wind power turbines are no friend
To birds that fly into them while
Thinking it is natural wind.
Growing sums of dead birds compile.
And so has gone out feathered word,
Wind turbines are the enemy
Of any and all flying bird,
And sabotage does need to be.
The birds cunning in ways and means
To toss in varied monkey wrench,
Causing breakdown of the machines,
Catching on fire in smokey stench.

Wind power turbines do beware.
The birds do wreak havoc from air.
