The Charm Of Perfect Imperfection Poem by Madrason .

The Charm Of Perfect Imperfection

If you've gotten wise
through natures flaws
and at the mercy of
nature's claws
it first pulls some hair
un tightens smooth skin
dries up the moist
the pressure from within
it breaks up some bones
shakes up the entrails
pulls you some nails
and yet your voice matures
it comforts the young
your wisdom it strengthens
their minds all along
and if you can smile
at the mirror just for a while
every now and then
you know just when
and whilst you lose beloved
the muscles start to weaken
you will notice that...
some kind of magic ahead
you can't fully grasp it
but just sit and be patient
while time's running out
don't start to shout
because you are frightened
to suffer will end
look at your sprouts
and look at your wife
look at each moment
so gifted by life
existence has a way
to say without words
it shall always mend
so don't you be foolish
and try to start to run
the youngster is watching
the pictures of grandma and pa
it smiles and it says
ma you look just like them
the bird starts to twitter
it's fluttering flattering wings
and it truly really sings
such is the way of all things
they come and they go
like the seasons they do
and so my little loved ones
yes now it's up to you! M
