The Coconut Tree - Iii

Rating: 5.0

Selecting mature coconut trunks as wood
For house building materials is economy
Houses thatched with coconut leaves
Remain echo friendly and cool in hot season

Customarily coconuts are made to witness
Every auspicious occasion to sanctify it
Breaking the nuts before deities is believed
To distance evil spirits and attract good luck.

The specially arranged coconut flower bunch
adds elegance to Hindu marriage functions.
Its medicinal qualities tends Ayurveda doctors
To prepare medicines of super quality curability

My warm feeling on the Kalpavriksha roused when I happened to witness people solely depending on it for thirst and hunger where there was no neat and clean hotels. The medicinal value of it is rarely known to the mass. Thank you dear poetess for the inspiring comments
