The Great Poem by Parameswaran Nair Damodaran Nair

The Great

Rating: 5.0

'Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu'
(Lét the whole world be happy)
One who keeps such wish in mind
One who keeps no discrimination
One who keeps in his mind love for all
One who feels pain for others sufferings
One who wishes others to overcome poverty
And concentrates his time, energy and resources
For manifesting the sublime wishes is great!

That would be great for the whole world, very unfortunate that the spirit is willing, but the flesh is too weak. Fantastic poe, dear poet! 5 Stars Top Score

Wishing and praying for the welfare of the world and people, is most noble and sublime. The Vedas and Upanishads speak of the prayers for the whole world not restricted to any country, class, colour or trible.
