The Continuity. Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..

The Continuity.

I got a silver coin, when I was a student
The first prize awarded for a competition
The first prize for the reciting of a poem
That too an epic poem so aloud
The gentlemen heard with happiness
They encouraged to carry on the recitation
I was proud to receive the applause and inspiration
The motivation given by the elders
The little mind of a little child
They gave me the prize with happiness
The world likes the children that I knew
They want the inspiration of elders
The likes the greatness of great men
They knows the world of wisdom from them
In fact a child is a continuity of elders.
