The Crocodile Basks Poem by Terry Dawson

The Crocodile Basks

In Wild West America the bandits wore masks
But here in Zimbabwe the crocodile basks
And shows his face boldly as he goes about town
Yet he's looting the state of the jewels in its crown.

Who does not enjoy a good Croc story with a philosophical twist. Watch those teeth!

It is so sad. Corruption is rampart in our society and people are trying to get filthy rich. It is very hard to end this phenomena and it is growing like cancer. Nice poem. Short and with a strong message. Thanks for sharing.
