The Darkness Passes By Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Darkness Passes By

S-aturday sun fourth of March
E-liminates the cold night;
L-et the break of new dawn set your birthday aright.

E-arly morning light
U-ses the wide horizon;
S-hadows have disappeared,
E-ven brought to oblivion.
B-eautiful beacon's flame
I-s burning in the sky;
O-nce the day has broken, the darkness passes by.
