The Dawn Will Break High Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Dawn Will Break High

D-elightful day eight
O-f this April morning light;
L-ong and lonely night fades,
O-ne dawn is shining bright.
R-ain stops from falling,
E-vening chill turns warm;
S-hadows of clouds keep you away from heat and harm.

N-ew rise of the sun starts,
E-ither crimson or red;
P-ure happiness you'll feel
O-nce you get up from the bed.
M-ake this moment memorable
U-ntil the flames flicker;
C-elebrate your birthday,
E-nding the haze everywhere.
N-o more mist in the open as the twilight passes by;
O-nly when the dusk disappears, the dawn will break high.
