The Deep Wood - Poem by Tiku akp

The deep wood call me
It knows my name
I am a lonely man and
It gives me shelter in its shade

The deep wood sings
A song of my choice
It knows I love music of
Leaves, fronds and flowers

The wood has a color
That I like to wear
So it sends me its garb
And I feel relaxed and cool

I have gone to deep woods
Often and returned just once
To collect my dreams
To share with it in loneliness

A man of woods you are!
Loved your intimacy with the woods and your poetic description of its deepness.
