The Deranged Poem by Jaishree Nair

The Deranged

Rating: 5.0

A mother eyes flooding, holding the blessing close to her heart,
Overwhelmed with the sensations oozing out from her to the little one,
The torments of the months forgotten,
The fruit of love, a new life!

The angelic mother in her shed tears of exultation, but
time specked her with insane deliriums
The demon serpent slowly raised his hood,
and ignited the spark of devil,
Erotic lustful thoughts created irregular beats in her,
The ocean turned redder,
The sky turned darker.

The earth scorched and trembled
to witness
the unseen, the unheard, the unknown
Forgetting the bond of maternity,
She satiated her insane lust.

A disgrace to all motherhood
The devil in her roared with glee,
To the gallows she was taken
amidst the outrageous crowd
Pelting her with stones of animosity

She stood with hands chained, eyes glazed,
Brain muddled with strange whisperings,
She knew not the noose dangling before her,
Lost in the world of insanity
Lost in mind, lost in time! !
