It came with a flash,
the sound was deafening.
Felt like a whip-lash,
I didn't expect anything.
After the light subsided,
and the sound funneled out.
I felt much better,
now wondering what it is all about.
It seams the light came from God,
and the sound from Hell.
The Devil and God collided,
does this ring any bell?
I know the light won over,
and the Devil went to bed.
There's one thing I am going to do,
that's to stay good instead.
Very good Dave.... seems there's a devil theme amongst us poets today! I like this one.... shall try to stay good.... HG: -)
i do agree...Its a peace of mind it gives u. its far better' to saty good instead' emz
It is not always easy 'to stay good instead', but the will to stay so makes it worth trying, I will do so too..
