The Dog And The Snail Poem by David Darbyshire

The Dog And The Snail

Rating: 5.0

A dog wagging his tail,
slowly moved the snail.
The snail looked right into the dogs nose,
wondering what he was going to propose.

The dog jumped up and down
really wanted to play.
On the other hand the snail smiled
then started to pray.

One wrong move and the snail
would be Mush!
The doggie just jumped and sprang,
face a bit flush.

The doggie gently picked up the snail,
and put him on a nice big leaf.
The dog said go and play with your
friends, which was a great relief

I bet it was a Springer Spaniel.(Very soft-mouthed) Jack-Russells adopt the bark bark torture crunch method. Really nice this Dave. I could see it in a children's collection, a real smile-bringer. Danny
