POETRY IS THE CORONATION OF OUR SOULS is a view of poetry I will keep alive in my mind. And when I write my next poem that phrase will be my inspiration, it will guide my writing process and then reward it. Your third stanza is the beating heart of the poem; it belongs in the hearts and minds of everyone writing their poems at PH. This displays such a passionate appreciation of poetry it should convince a non-reader to start reading poems. It makes me excited to go out on my balcony and resume my poetry reading from last night with renewed, refreshed vigor. I have been reading the Russian Symbolist Alexandr Blok. His poems addressed to a visionary woman - S-O-P-H-I-A, an image of truth as well as beauty. Your poem conveys both truth and beauty.

First of all, my heartiest congratulations for crossing the milestone of 'a thousand poems' on this site. Bravo! How beautifully you have likened writing of poetry to 'the coronation of our souls'! So very poetic! 'Accuse, even scream, Protest with dignity, Not hiding behind political hypocrisy' - A very dignified way of looking at freedom of speech, but a freedom with responsibility. Being a poet myself, I am greatly inspired by such eulogy as this.
