The Dreamer Poem by Bruce Yeager

The Dreamer

Rating: 5.0

In the space of dreams I find myself
as I wonder like a child
ignoring all that surrounds me
seeking peace for just a while
and in the quite of my solitude
it's there my dreams unfold
awaken by reality
and truth's that need be told
ambition and hope keep me alive
while the world pulls me down
But through it all I realize
it's this that I found
Life can be wonderful
although often not as it seams
But mankind would have nothing
were it not for his dreams

Beautiful poem that depicts the mighty power of dreams within the context of interrelatedness of reality, well articulated and insightfully penned in poetic diction with conviction. Lovely piece of poetry bristling with knowledge. Thanks for sharing Bruce. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
