The End Of Days Poem by Kehinde Omotosho

The End Of Days

Rating: 4.0

The day turned black
The earth shook
The sun disappeared
The moon was bleeding
It seemed as though the sky was falling
There were massive earthquakes
Volcanoes erupted
The water bodies overflowed
Heavy winds blew
Brimstones falling from the skies
Buildings fell
Terror all round the world
Was it the end already?
Was it the Armageddon?
The second coming?
I trembled in my bed
I sweated profusely when I got up
It was all a nightmare!
A nightmare I never want to experience
The horror and fearsomeness of the end
Though they say the end is near
I don't want to have a feel of the end of days
Oh death come take me before the end comes!
