The Fabric Of Life Poem by Aileen Figueroa

The Fabric Of Life

Rating: 5.0

All of the sudden… I felt an astonishing overly whelming feeling.
As clear as church bell.
An understanding grasping thought filled my body and soul.
I am part of this fabric
This immense beauty of colors and structure
That surround's me

Everything that move is a sign of life.
The streets screams and roar with so much movement and action all around me.
No there is not a single corner that is silent without a movement.
The Sun bath the streets with bright illuminating light. I have to squint my eyes to see.

Even the trees are showing-off by making noise with their leaf
They too dance in permanent grounds.
The flowerpots sitting on the windows and gardens fully bloomed seem to wiggle with joy.

You can feel it, breathe it in, it's in the air.
The powerful energy of life.
I feel a sugar rush of joy
Happiness… To be alive and part of you
We are all part of this wonderful fabric
This quilt of life.
