The Facets Of Singularity Poem by Dave SmithWhite

The Facets Of Singularity

Rating: 5.0

-

If the Universe (via The Big Bang) just snapped into being,
What are the chances that one day, it might just snap back?

-

In that time before time existed:
In that place before space was twisted.
When there was no before..?
And where a dense surfeit of nothingness,
Became an unstable unit of being,
By not being...
In that moment, what force insisted;
What ineffable energy source, enlisted?
What quantum cauldron boiled and blistered,
What law of contradiction - unresolved, resisted,
What tipping point roiled, ham-fisted?
What entropic rule of chance persisted,
What heated states of matter, shifted
The curtains of uncertainty; what field uplifted?
What fog of gravity waived, unscripted?
What impossible, collapsing math, desisted,
To the logjam of a critical mass, restricted,
By the inflating plasma and gas, inflicted
As both in and out, or at least depicted
As the inevitable first event predicted?

It ws probably the last universe collapsing that caused the Big Bang, and the one before that, etc., Bang - inflation - deflation - bnge, and so on. We're all probably repeating previous lives! !
