The Fading Rose Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

The Fading Rose

Rating: 5.0

My petals are fading,
I'm losing my glow,
Autumn is here now,
I don't won't to go.
The seasons may change me,
But all is not lost,
I'll battle the winter,
the snow and the frost.
To rise like a phoenix,
When spring comes once more,
My colour so radiant,
Just like before.
And all will admire me,
For I'll look the same,
Like summers before me,
I'll come back again.
