I am an avid birdwatcher, or was, I will say, …..
& I dislike no bird, be they at work or at play.
Even if they poop on my head (one better not!) ,
I ‘love' all birds, aka I like them a very, very lot.
Birdwatchers come in all sizes, colors, & ages.
Some qualify as idiots, & others, perhaps, ….sages.
There are EVEN some who are female.My-my!
I saw one in the park today, beneath an azure sky.
Sitting on a bench, I watched a sparrow group;
to grab a crumb, each sparrow would stoop.
I used to use binoculars & look through THEIR lenses, ….
…to get a closer look.Today....I JUST had a book.
Something "caught my eye", near a lilac bush.
[‘She', too, watched.]I spoke not; I didn't push
…..to introduce myself to the ‘svelte' female.
I didn't want to scare the birds, so I didn't hail ……
…..the ‘new-to-me-female', as I normally would.
She watched through HER lenses.I COULD ….
….have called to her, and asked: "What's your name? ", …..
but I feared I'd scare both her AND birds the same.
[ I believe, somewhat, in fate ]
Yes, I believe, somewhat, in Mother Nature, & also in fate.
I hesitated, watching.Anyway, it was too late.
The watcher, wearing an orange coat of fur,
sped towards the sparrows in a silent …..BLUR!
When her task was completed, off she RAN,
off to feed her kittens, …..which had been..
....HER PLAN.

Bird birdwatcher lady both inspired you for this fantastic witty poem. Yeahh they better not on Mr. Bri, or he would chase them up the sky, and perhaps roast them as brie. Kudos.

I would like to translate this poem
Very entertaining. I am a bird watcher myself and have several bird feeders in my back yard. I have also seen cats there, but it's mostly hawks who take a goldfinch or sparrow every once in a while.
