As 'distinctly'as Edgar Allan Poe,
I sat 'peering deep into that darkness',
The silence grew depth unknown,
The violet became brighter and brighter.
As 'The Raven'at 'his window lattice',
The fire bird on my shoulder sat,
It's wings became wider and wider
Engulfing my head into the silence unknown.
The fire bird on my shoulder sat, It's wings became wider and wider Engulfing my head into the silence unknown. beautiful poem. there is a sense of mystery when you write about silence. thank u. tony
Bisy Untan, Darkness is not something that I desire to look into but I do know that the only difference is I cannot see but in reality the space has not changed. Interesting poem.silence grew depth unknown and wings grew wider and wider. were central to the depth within this poem. Thanks for writing blessings in your writing and life Kathy
Reminded me of Sugathakumari-ji in one of her Malayalam poems singing: (quoted fro memory) . Thanks for sharing this poem.
