The Flame Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

The Flame

Rating: 5.0

Depletion-
despite sprinkling on the wings,
heat losing hold,
winds get split up,
ashes a few stay back
on the soil
what remains in all moves upward

It was all in one
till yesterday
now all lost
all that added up

No grieving
for the chains also get broken
they also leave

Up and up towards the sky
feather-like but unseen,
towards instant visibility
