leadish legs
following the trail
that i have left
it blows away
a dust in breeze
you're running after
you would die for
a heavy cloak from the rain
cool shade from the sun
mustering all the energy you can
from your delicate body
from your expected duties
the everyday routine
of here and there
collapse to the ground
you tried so hard,
reached so far
but never
far enough
this has gone on
far enough
so have i
