The Foolish Heart Poem by Chris Embrick

The Foolish Heart

How capricious the foolish heart
Never landing on a flower
While others love, is set apart
How capricious the foolish heart
A butterfly lost in the dark
Never knowing true loves power
How capricious the foolish heart
Never landing on a flower.

A great poem describing a foolish heart. A heart by nature easily gives in to emotions. Some hearts don't know what they have until it's gone.
