The Fox And The Rooster Poem by Ima Ryma

The Fox And The Rooster

Rating: 5.0

A fox did grab a rooster at
The farmer's farm and ran away
From the chicken coop habitat,
Fox predator and rooster prey.
The farmer's dogs went in pursuit,
And with the farmer close behind.
The rooster begged the fox to scoot
Faster with a sly plan in mind.
'Bad this farmer has been to me.'
'I'll stay with you, ' the rooster said.
Open mouthed shocked the fox did be,
And to safety the rooster sped.

This Aesop fable moral is
A rooster's tricky at fox biz.
