The Freedom To Tell The Truth Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Freedom To Tell The Truth

The dictators are afraid of the truth
And the affidates are afraid of the fair angels
Justice is the symbol of truthfulness
Of words and the tireless enemy of lies.

Long live freedom! Long live democracy!
Down with injustice! Down with hypocrisy!
Injustice is attached and collated to corruption
That is why there is so much confusion.

Demagogues are afraid of the truth
This is why, like fierce and naughty foxes
They lie, plot, murder and slander.

Liars destroy civility, happiness and life
Let shine the glow and the rays of freedom
And let jingle the bells of peace and hard truth.
