Come one, Come all.
An invitation has been sent to all!
The 'Game of Words' has already begun,
You play well, you shine like a sun.
Killed you are, no need of gun,
If slightest mistake ever you done!
Your words reflect who you are,
If spoken carefully may take you far.
The hardest of hearts
Melt And soften
If 'Please' & 'Thanks'
Are used quite often!
'Sorry' and 'dear'
May prove to be your saviour
In a tough situation
If you land ever.
'Rascal' and 'scoundrel'
Are words loved by teens
Using them often might
Get your head knocked off in 'guillotine'!
A golden rule,
In your brain you pack,
An arrow from bow,
And words from jaw,
If leave their positions,
never come back!
The 'Game of Words' is a difficult one,
It seems much easier said than done.
Words chosen wisely, the game is won!
A game of words eh....words can be dangerous, as dangerous as the sword...they should be used with caution and yet at times, being human, we forget ourselves and they just slip out. Say it with flowers, soften the blow and maybe you can say it all.
Yeah, being a human sometimes our tongue slips but we surely regret this blunder at some point of time in our life which indeed brings a change for good in us.Thanks so much for reading and commenting on my poem!
