It is no dreamland for the ideal man
no change in life may be liked by old people
even if they are looked after well
their habits (the good one) may tell it all

they are accustomed to the rigid environment
they have seen the ups and down
all hardships are well-known
so the luxury of life is not easily drawn

we are feared of the hard life
and so earn more not to face the strife
An old people know how to cope
and they walk with caution in slope

I speak it with an experience
and may not like the luxury at once
I shall prefer simple living
the luxury may not be appealing

there is a generation gap
and we feel it as a slap
that old people should suffer no more
but don't feel sore

if they are poor
you feel them as the neighbor
but it will be an honor
if we don't call them as the miser

There has always been a generation gap and always will be. Also, there have always been badly written poems. This is so evident where English is not the first language. However, this will be no problem for POD.
