The Gentleman Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Gentleman

Injustice comes,
The gentleman denies,
Again it comes,
Straightway he refuses it.
But, how long!
Unfairness approaches repeatedly towards him,
As it is the soul of the modern realm,
Finally he has to give in
And he becomes compelled to accept the injustice.
Being angry and frustrated,
The gentleman laments,
"Oh God! where have you sent me? "
Someone laughs at him from aside.
