The Gift Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

The Gift

Rating: 5.0

Collect your moments,
String them together like
Pearls of time.
Memories bequeathed to a new generation
Filled with stories divine.
Moments with laughter, a few
With tears,
Weddings, births some times of sad
Farewells throughout the years.
Each photograph, or some other treasure
With its own story to share.
What a most special way to show you care!
Yes, collect your moments, big or small
Life time journeys, rising from each fall!
