She walked away,
And I don't care,
Left me on the altar and I don't care.

Somethings are never returned.
Sometimes you get burned.
Yeah it hurts but it could have been much worse.
Expectation thrown in reverse.
Going back to day one.

She walked away,
And I don't care,
Left me on the altar and I don't care.

I do not hate, or despair.
For she didn't love me.
It would have been a shame to keep the reels spinning.
Showing scenes more dirty and unclean.
A sun setting so perfect.
Couldn't have asked for any more.
It was my happiest day in my life.
