The Heart Found It's Peace Poem by Nashy Lamen

The Heart Found It's Peace

Finally after a long wait,
The heart found its peace,
No worries here, no crying there,
It lives a life with ease.

The pain it felt, now slowly gone,
awaken and now free,
The sober nights and crying done,
at last no misery.

The memories not yet erased,
But lessons, she has learned,
She heals and then she smiles again,
The felicity she has earned.

As he passes by, no shivers felt,
A stranger as she looks,
But still a friend, that's what she thinks,
The offer she now took.

So there again, she sits in place,
And laughs aloud with friends,
The music lovely in her ears,
The agony abruptly ends.

Close your eyes and fly...soar..be free..let nothing limit you..not even those friends you laugh around with...that stranger...or others...You know, life is a very wonderful thing...not because of fun things and loud laughs...but because of the obstacles we go through, the tears we shed with it...the lessons we learned from it...and when you're at the top of that mountain...the weak smile that appears as we look down and feel the warmth of the sun in our faces and that breeze that seems to lift us high. Smile!
