The Hearts That Beat Within
Across the mighty oceans
in lands far away,
sprits touch one another
in so many ways.
They see not each other
except through photographs,
images of faces
they would dearly love to meet.
Some say the world is shrinking
as technology grows,
that soon it will be possible
for hand to touch
and feel the warmth
of the hearts that beat within.
