The Holy Hymn Poem by Abdul Wahab

The Holy Hymn

Rating: 3.8

I beg to thee
I pray to thee.
The most gracious, the most merciful,
The most pious, the most beautiful.
I seek to thee
I heed to thee.
The most sustainer, the most cherisher
The most preserver, the most destroyer.
The owner of the worlds
The ruler of the days.

Praise unto thee
Honour unto thee.
Guide me the right
Give me the light.
The most eternal, the most exceptional,
The most unique, the most dynamic.
Cure my sin
Pure my heart.
The king of the kings, the poet of the poets.
The most kind, the most omnipotent,
The most compassionate, the most omniscient.

Dear paisano, What hymn it is! You we praise this in our poems but you praised none other than the god in this poem. I wonder how you created these ethereal line from the nub of your heart. It is devotional and shows supreme power at its best! So all the best say your buddy...... Thumps up with a loud cheer!

There is no wrong in the poem or in the story according to me and my understanding of the poem. The is all about the praising and admiring of the universal God rather than the sectarian God in which some people may find some fault as they love to divide the divine God according to their sectarian needs to satisfy their whims or the poem might not suit the atheist -the people of anti-God, but I find the a super one, really really a holy hymn and very suitable for every one, thanks.
