The Honest Bureaucrats Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

The Honest Bureaucrats

Rating: 5.0

Honest Officers
shouldn’t step in sand mines or dunes.
The Chief Ministers
have a hand in this freight trade.
How can they remain silent
when the channels to coffers
of their parties are cut off?
The mafia do this sand trade
to keep the party-funds grow.
After all, this looted funds
come back to voters in polls.
Then why these Jhansi Ranis
should take risk to face action?
