The Illusions Of Glass As It Shatters

the illusions of glass as it shatters:
will it be birds now, angels?
transparencies of God?

will it fall to earth, from a second story window
depending on several things.
none of them real.

the cat upsetting the coloured bottles;
the pink glass figurines leaning out too far...
struck with a longing for Paris, stars.

or can it feel: a heart, my heart has scattered, where? .
whose? says the child
picking up fragments from the sidewalk,

are these diamondsandrubies?
