The Inquisitive Spirit Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Inquisitive Spirit

Rating: 5.0

Lift the veils
I want to know
Have answers!

At times
Mystery is quiet
A disagreeable prankster
That encircles truth,
And we find no answers
To so many of our
Ruminating questions
Limited by the balustrade
Of purposeful deception
To impede the conception
Of clear and true ideas
In other words,
The Truth,
So hard to find,
So hard to tell.

And so,
Life unfolds,
Full of crackling doubts
And subversive questions
That no one wants to answer,
That always seem
To leave doubts,
In a world were
So many lies, we shout!
As fooling others
Becomes and Is
The most popular,
And profitable, business
That has crossed all
Time barriers,
And frontiers
Of that, my dears,
There is no Doubt!

I loved this piece - it's tailor made - " ripped from the headlines of these 1/2 truth times.
