The Journey Of Life
It is not easy for anyone
Neither for the moss nor for the trees
Neither for the birds nor for the bees
Neither for the worms nor for the geese
Neither for humans nor for wild beasts
Each one tries to skirt the whirls
Each one tries to avoid the falls
Each one tries to reach the shores
So lend a helping hand to them
And apply a balm to soothe the pain
Who knows when we will meet again?
Everyone has to undertake this journey of life alone, you're right, but a helping hand here, an encouraging nod there does help, as your last three lines say. Well said.
Life’s journey is so fascinatingly expressed in a brief poem! I would love to quote, “It is not easy for anyone/neither for the moss nor for the trees/neither for the birds nor for the bees/neither for the worms nor for the geese”…………a very nice composition in subtle rhymes. I like your style of expression…thank you for sharing…..10
