The Joy Of Movement Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

The Joy Of Movement

Rating: 5.0

Childhood now seems like a long lost dream,
Memories of playing beside the old stream,
It seems like only yesterday,
But so many years have got in the way,
Age has a way of creeping up on us,
Before we know it,
The old bones start to creak,
We have to watch what we eat!
Teeth start falling out,
And we find it difficult to dance,
Let alone get about,
Take me back to those childhood days,
The joy of movement,
In so many ways!
