The Jungle Poem by Dorsey Baker

The Jungle

The volcano begins to
Erupt again
We have come under fire
Nowhere to run
Flames burning all over
It's a wild fire

Out of a very deep hybernation
The bears come
To satisfy their hunger
Blood thirsty tigers on the prowl

The jungle shows no mercy
It is full of danger
That is hiding
That is lurking
Waiting to emerge
To pounce upon
Another victim

Kill or be killed
The voice of the jungle is speaking
A rattlesnake gives warning
Before it attacks!
