The Kitten And Its Prey Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Kitten And Its Prey

Rating: 5.0

The frisky kitten is aiming at its prey,
Its soft legs are silent with its movement,
As it comes closer to the butterfly,
It begins to fly to and fro nearby.

The restless kitten jumps desperately again and again to catch it
But the butterfly flees every time in the whirling motion
From the kitten's hungry notion;
When the final attempt proves futile,
The little kitten begins to smile
As if to appreciate the little creature's skill.
