The Kitty Hawk-Outer Banks Beach Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

I arrived at the beach just after mid-day
Hilton Garden Inn sits by the blue ocean under golden sunshine.
The blue sky connects with the blue ocean
But the ocean blue is darker than sky blue.
It's a beautiful, warm, sunny day
Under blue sky and silver clouds, ocean invites visitors to come.
Ocean waves repeatedly break and spread over brown sands.
Many people play with coming waves or bask themselves in the sun.
White breakers roll over blue ocean
Successive waves follow each other to break at shore line.
Several pairs of pelicans rapidly flap their wings
Few dozens of pigeons rest on the pier roof.
From the fourth floor of the hotel, I can see very far
Many miles long arching line connects the sky and the ocean.
I sit and watch blue sky and blue ocean
While ocean waves continue their never ending songs like thousands lullabies.

BÃI BIỂN KITTY HAWK-OUTER BANKS

Tới đây, trời mới quá trưa
Hilton khách sạn, biển xanh, nắng vàng.
Trời xanh nối biển mầu xanh
Nhưng mà mầu biển đậm xanh hơn trời.
Hôm nay nắng ấm, đẹp trời
Trời xanh, mây trắng, biển mời người thăm.
Cát nâu, sóng vỗ, nước lăn
Người chơi với sóng, người nằm nắng phơi.
Nước xanh, bọt sóng trắng phau
Sóng sau, sóng trước theo nhau vỗ bờ.
Bay mau, mấy cặp bồ nông
Bồ câu mấy chục, đậu chơi mái nhà.
Lầu tư khách sạn, nhìn xa
Vòng cung, trời biển nối nhau dặm dài.
Tôi ngồi, ngắm biển trời xanh
Rì rào sóng vỗ như ngàn lời ru.
