The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 6 Poem by Richard Wlodarski

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 6

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 6

Grading ten aging fifteen I meet guardian angel
English teacher guidance counsellor all rolled into just one
Wolfe fiercely killing the lamb's endured pain
Gently embracing me with her empathy
Projecting a mother's love yet unfulfilled
Guiding me...advising me...protecting me...
Wolfe is the epitome of teaching
Lamb is willing and able to learn
Together they ignite the spark of genius within
And blaze a trail into the frontier of the mind
Perfecting communication...twin consciousness
Freeing my subconscious mind from conformity

Days turn into weeks...
And weeks into months...
And months into years...
