The Little Angel Fell Asleep Poem by Walterrean Salley

The Little Angel Fell Asleep

Rating: 5.0

A tiny gem
Was placed on earth—
Truly special
From her birth.
Lots of joy,
She has given;
And now gently
Rests in heaven.

Such little angel,
Meant to be,
Was a child
Of destiny—
Who laughed and played,
Then fell asleep:
Ten-thousand kisses
‘Pon her cheek.
