The Manuscript Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Manuscript

Rating: 5.0

Let the rain kiss the manuscript
It's full of tears anyway
My heart had been filled with words
But they escaped through my hands
As the words I have written
Were all about my lonely heart
Craving for yr touch
However, when you read my work, you laughed
And broken my soul
My sorrow didn't even touched yr heart
And I was left wandering without a purpose
Nevermind, my love
I shall remember you and yr laughter
When I receive my prize

When you put your heart on paper and it is not appreciated. It can be very painful
