The Milky Way
We took a car
And drove away afar,
Accidentally reached a place
Where brilliantly shone the stars.
The night was brilliant
With twinkling stars in billions,
The Milky Way arched onto the earth
In surreal oblivion!
Beautiful celestial imagery, an ethereal feeling of floating, and a great last line. I very much enjoyed reading this poem.
