The Moon Visitation Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

The Moon Visitation

Rating: 5.0

Backdoor wide open
A cream moon is coming in
Softly, like a dream.
Beyond red sun, pearly rays
in a lazy, lilac night.

Howling wind whimsy
'midst the fantasy flowers
in plum, pink and green.
Silver moon, always welcome
lending silk beauty to night.

I could clearly see the cream and silver moon in this sparkling well expressed poem. A captivating painting through a wonderful poetic form and expressions. Top Marks as always.

Truly the same moon, please excuse me my great honesty, but mine is almost full, still a tiny bit, about twio days, methinks, but one thing they have in common: both are true scintillating TOP Marks for your moon, Evelyn, so sorry for my great honesty, next to poetry, I paint either

Thank you for your delightful comment. No need to be sorry. This poem doesn't take place in real time. It could be about any full moon night. Glad you enjoyed it.

So beautifully captivating. " A cream moon is coming in // Softly, like a dream"… my heart seems to have become one with the flowing "creamy" moonlight. Superb…

Beautiful Tanka presented in full Beauty, I so love the lovely descriptive poem about this fascinating moon. Last night I came home from visiting the sick, but my moon was not as full as yours, I thought that your moon is the same as I have seen from my place?

Your lovely comment brings to mind the famous song that goes, 'The moon belongs to everyone. The best things in life are free...' Thank you for your words of appreciation.
