The Mountains Of Resilience Poem by Mohammad Younus

The Mountains Of Resilience

The mountain of resilience,
Its foundation built on steadfastness.
The self, too, is unyielding.
Death cannot destroy it.
New mountains will rise,
And even the smallest hills
Will bloom into towering peaks.
The world —
Our Lord, You did not create this
In vain.
Glory to You! Save us, then,
From the chastisement of the Fire.

On it stands Everest, with unwavering structure.
To its peak climbs the bold adventurer:
A mountain of resistance, of resilience.
No mist or fog, if you look into the distance.

The distance to freedom will shrink,
The height of mountains will rise.
For steadfastness is like a blessing
For those who seek to break their shackles.
The poetry of resistance, a mantra of liberation,
To break free from this vulgar world.
There, the poet unfolds the signs of freedom.
Poems of the Spirit's freedom tire the fool,
Yet the wise find countless joys within them.
