The Music - Poem by Fred Babbin

The music cuts into my heart,
Reminding me of days gone by.
Reminding me of days
I should forget
And can’t

If the first comment on music is true, I can't say I really know what it's about. But I can relate to it, even though maybe not as much as an adult.
Nice poem, keep up the good work!

Fred, why should you forget? remember, enjoy the memory, feel young in the moment, I never seem to act my age, but I do worry that my memory might fail me when I get older. be glad youre still so young at heart that the music can still move you! enjoyed this one, Fred! jane s x (Report)Reply

I know exactly what you mean. The older I get the truer this is. Great poem! (Report)Reply
