The Night Is Beautiful Poem by Peter S. Quinn

The Night Is Beautiful

The night is beautiful, a velvet sea,
Wrapped in the whispers of the silent stars.
The moon, a silver sail, drifts wild and free,
Illuminating dreams and distant scars.

The shadows dance beneath the ancient trees,
Their branches weaving stories left untold.
A symphony of sighs rides on the breeze,
Embracing souls that wander in the cold.

Yet in this tapestry of dark and light,
A solitary heart beats all alone.
Amidst the beauty of the endless night,
It longs for warmth, a love to call its own.

The heavens sparkle, but the void remains,
The night is beautiful, but loneliness it contains.
