The Old Gardener Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Old Gardener

Rating: 5.0

She wakes up at early dawn
And slowly walks to her garden
To tend the plants she has grown
Despite weakness and creaking bones
She waters the plants and clears the weeds
Dew drenched grasses she cautiously treads
And her flowers send fragrances far and wide
Praise and love come to her from all the sides
And she was found dead in the morning hours
People visit her grave with bunches of her flowers
